The Genesis“God in His divine Wisdom, planted a vision in the heart of Menzie Oban while he was living in England, “go home and set up a Christian Centre” Team Work Associated began in 1971 when Menzie, his late wife Icy and their children came home to Jamaica from England at the Lord’s command. Within weeks of their return, they were involved in a prison ministry with a group from the Kingston Open Bible Church and others who formed the Company, Team Work Associates in 1973. God blessed the prison ministry, and a piece of property was acquired in August Town in Kingston. Two persons who represent lasting fruit of that ministry continue at August Town to this very day. But Menzie knew in his spirit that this ministry was far from the fulfillment of the vision. So he joined with others of the team, praying and weeping before the Lord, and was led to Montego Bay. Today, 25 years later set within the picturesque hills Torado Heights, surrounded by natural lush vegetation and overlooking the Caribbean sea is the Team Work Christian Centre.
