Teamwork
Associates USA is raising funds for a new dishwasher. This amount could be a gift from 1 person, a church, a Sunday School
class, or the accumulation of many small individual gifts.
This is an opportunity to improve the facilities at Team Work. Please
consider what part you, your Sunday School class, or your church could have in
making this improvement possible.

request letter announcing fundraising activities:

Dear Teamwork Friends,
During recent meetings of Teamwork USA, the executive board determined to
present a commercial dishwasher to Teamwork Jamaica by January 2008. This
endeavor will be no small venture and will require the cooperation of all
involved with the Teamwork Ministry.
After some rather interesting research, Teamwork USA has discovered that a
commercial dishwasher can be obtained in the States which meets the electrical
demands found in Jamaica. The total cost of such a machine designed for
commercial use such as is found in the school at Jamaica could come to $10,000
including shipping and installation in Jamaica.
It has been our decision to hold some of the funds contributed to Teamwork for
this project while letting approximately 50% continue to be sent to Jamaica for
current operational needs. Fund raising efforts by the local board will
continue, but we will of course need all of your help to meet this goal.
A fundraiser is scheduled for Saturday September 29, 2007 at the home of Trudy
Jenkins in Clarksboro, NJ. A yard sale involving home accessories, hardware,
furniture, electronics, baked goods, sandwiches, pretzels, bicycles, plants,
farm grown vegetables, etc. will be held from 8:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m.
Additional activities associated with the dishwasher will be announced following
finalization of other efforts to reach our goal. Your participation in any form
would be greatly appreciated. We will also keep you posted on where we
stand with the funds raised to date. Of course any church inclusion would
be greatly welcomed.
Please pray that this attempt to improve the facilities in Jamaica will have a
positive impact on the children and enable Teamwork to improve its services to
those it so faithfully serves.
